ElixSea is a boutique Spanish wine project specializing in genuine underwater-aged wines, a rare category where time, pressure, and the sea itself become part of the maturation process.
Our wines are aged for 6–12 months on the seabed of the Mediterranean Sea at depths exceeding 20 meters, in naturally stable, low-light, high-pressure conditions. This unique environment accelerates bottle evolution, softens tannins, enhances aromatic integration, and delivers a noticeably rounder, smoother mouthfeel compared to traditional cellar aging.
Each bottle is naturally encrusted by the sea and recovered by divers, making every piece visually unique.
ElixSea works with limited-production, premium Spanish varietals selected specifically for underwater maturation. Our portfolio includes both red and white wines developed for premium retail, horeca, collectors, corporate gifting, and experiential hospitality concepts.
